Focusing on design, 3D sound and a new format for integrating a TV into the interior: the Danish brand CANVAS HiFi officially enters the Ukrainian market

The black rectangle of a TV on the wall has killed more interiors than any other gadget. CANVAS HiFi radically solves this problem and removes noise - both acoustic and aesthetic: the system merges the screen with sound into a single object, elegantly dressed in Kvadrat textiles or natural wood. The Danish brand officially enters the Ukrainian market: the distributor is Complexv.

Timeless Aesthetics: From the "Black Hole" to the Center of Gravity

Unlike traditional soundbars, which usually remain a separate technical element, CANVAS takes a different approach: the system is designed to be mechanically and visually integrated with the TV. The acoustic module adapts to the width of the screen in the range from 55 to 85 inches, forming a single monolithic object and creating the illusion that the sound is born directly inside the screen.

For the design market, this solution may be particularly attractive due to the possibility of adapting the appearance to a specific interior. The front panels are made in a variable format: users can choose textile surfaces from the Danish brand Kvadrat or wooden slats from oak, walnut or mahogany. This approach meets the current demand for minimalist and biophilic interiors, where natural materials and a neutral palette prevail.

At the same time, the product is not only focused on aesthetics. Inside, the system is equipped with a high-density MDF cabinet with a proprietary BridgeBrace™ internal bracing system that completely eliminates unwanted resonances, custom drivers from SB Acoustics, a four-channel 250-watt amplifier, and a digital signal processor.

3D Magic: Sound Beyond Physics

A key technological feature is support for BACCH 3D Sound, a spatial sound technology that works even with just two closely spaced speakers. The development is based on research by Princeton University professor Edgar Shueyri and solves the “narrow base” problem characteristic of traditional acoustic panels.

Together with a powerful quad-core DSP crossover, the system delivers a level of performance that is simply not possible with passive crossovers used in most Hi-End speaker systems.

The technology uses the principle of crosstalk suppression, whereby the right and left channels are perceived separately by each ear. This allows for the formation of a three-dimensional stereo scene, which, according to the stated characteristics, can reach 3–4 meters wide without the use of separate rear speakers.

This way, users hear sound not from “under the TV,” but from the entire space around them. This completely eliminates the need to install bulky rear speakers.

Another important element is the Room Correction system - software tuning of sound for a specific room. Using a mobile application or an external microphone, the system analyzes the acoustic features of the space: hard surfaces, glazing, furniture or wall configuration, and then automatically corrects the sound to avoid hum or distortion.

Complexv separately emphasizes that the company will not just sell equipment, but will also provide comprehensive support.

Brand presentation in Ukraine

Against the backdrop of growing interest in comprehensive smart-home solutions, the emergence of such products in Ukraine reflects a broader trend - the convergence of the technology market, design, and development of residential spaces. After all, today, technology no longer just performs a function, but also has a direct impact on the atmosphere and overall aesthetics of the interior.

To personally evaluate the capabilities of the Danish novelty, Complexv invites architects, interior designers, developers and everyone interested in modern home technologies to an official presentation. CANVAS HiFi.
