Must-visit in July – International Economic and Humanitarian Forum Ukrainian ID

/ Ukraine /
The names of the key speakers and the program of the Ukrainian ID International Economic and Humanitarian Forum, which will be held in Kanev on July 7, became known today. Visitors to the event are waiting for five panels - Economy ID, Human Security ID, Community ID, Culture ID and Technology ID. Participants and moderators of the forum will be leading Ukrainian and foreign economists, investors, journalists, state figures and cultural visionaries.

"Ukrainian ID is a platform that unites world and domestic opinion leaders to generate new meanings, to ensure the future on the basis of the rapid development of the economy and human capital," says forum president Natalya Zabolotnaya.

The Economy ID discussion will be led by John Herbst, chairman of the Eurasian Center of the Atlantic Council, who was the US ambassador to Ukraine in 2003-2006. According to him, the current program of the forum is a harbinger of a successful future: "the event in Kanev is the realization of the prospects of creating a new modern Ukraine." This obliges the organizers of the forum to think broadly and form a new "Ukrainian Davos".

The panel devoted to humanitarian security will be moderated by the well-known American journalist and writer Christopher Dycky. He became famous thanks to his reports and books in which the author explores the nature of military conflicts in various regions of the world. In 2014, Dikky became the editor of the world news department of The Daily Beast - an American online publication with an audience of 21 million readers - and in nine years of work received about two dozen awards for outstanding achievements in journalism.

Another participant of the economic panel will be Natalya Ann Yaresko - the chairman of the supervisory board of "Aspen Institute Kyiv" and a member of the supervisory board of The Aspen Institute in the USA. "We live in a world of competition in which, thanks to new technologies, we will feel progress in medicine, business, education and trade. Investments in human capital give an opportunity to be an integral part and co-author of these global trends," Natalya Yaresko notes.

Among the participants of the forum will be the editor-in-chief of the Canadian edition of The National Post, Diane Francis, who collaborates with the most influential world media - Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and The Guardian; Austrian investor Thomas Brunner; Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Vashchuk, who will moderate the Culture ID panel; Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine on Investments Daniel Bylak; Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan, acting Minister of Health Ulyana Suprun and Chairman of Cherkassy OGA Yury Tkachenko.
