It is generally accepted that ceramic tiles are the most popular finishing material for bathrooms. However, today it finds the widest range of applications and not only in bathrooms. Many large manufacturers focus on one or two specific directions, for example, they produce only large-format plates, work in their own bright style, someone emphasizes traditional design, and someone - on advanced technologies. In 2005, young graduates of the Barcelona branch of the European Institute of Design (Istituto Europeo di Design) decided to create a new stylish modern brand of ceramic tiles. They just completed an internship at a Spanish factory and got to know all the production cycles. From the emergence of the idea to the release of the first production under the Almera Ceramica brand, time passed, during which the former students gained experience and knowledge, understood the process of creating collections, studied the market and found technical opportunities for the implementation of their ambitious plans. The presentation of the first Almera Ceramica product took place at the Cevisama exhibition in Valencia in February 2013.

"From the very beginning, the brand declared itself as a manufacturer of fashionable tiles," continues Alena. — Her design is not just at the peak of current trends, but also partly forms them itself. The founders did not stop experimenting with the themes, color solutions and images of their collections, trying to understand what exactly the modern European consumer needs. Constant presence at leading industry exhibitions, study of interior and fashion trends allowed the studio to form an author's style and take its place in the market.

By the way, the brand got its name in honor of Almeria, a famous resort in Andalusia, where tourists from all over the world flock. According to the creators of Almera Ceramica, the choice of name reflects their plans to make their tile just as popular. And it is made in the province of Castellon, a well-known center of ceramic production in Spain. Part of the capacities, and there is nothing to hide here, following the example of such iconic brands as Zara, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Bosh and others, was transferred to China.

The versatility of the brand's products allows you to use it not only in bathrooms and kitchens, but also in living rooms, halls, children's rooms, and the porcelain stoneware collection — including on outdoor terraces. At the same time, the style of the room can be any - from classics and country to laconic minimalism. But the most attractive for the Ukrainian buyer is the optimal price-quality ratio.

A few years ago, having studied market requests, the factory began to produce large-format tiles — the Almera Ceramica XL line. "For quite a long time, we have been offering porcelain stoneware with a size of 180x90 cm - it was this one that turned out to be optimal for our customers, as it is suitable not only for large spaces, but also for apartments with low ceilings, bathrooms and kitchens of a small area. The Almera Ceramica XL series includes a wide range of up-to-date imitations of natural marble, onyx, exotic stones and minerals. These are bright decorative materials that are highly valued by interior designers. Also, our collections present a trend of the last few seasons — various interpretations of concrete texture. This year, we offered a new format of 120x120 cm, which was also positively evaluated by our clients," says Alena. "Ceramic boards" can also be attributed to the large format - the reproduction of the texture of wood in porcelain stoneware. The size of the plate — 23x120 cm — adds to the similarity of this Almera Ceramica product with a board.
