Natural materials, calm tones and an authentic, almost bucolic color - this is how you can describe the new DUNA project by Olga Fradina Interior Design. The apartment for a family with two children was created in an extremely subtle manner, so that not a single detail distracts or irritates, and the interior looks harmonious and contributes to the relaxation of the ego of the residents.

A Kyiv family ordered a real meditation apartment from designer Olga Fradyna. The clients wanted everything in their home to promote relaxation.

The atmosphere of serenity is created with the help of a calm color scheme, natural materials and natural textures, minimalist furniture and decor elements. Even the cabinets and storage systems are closed so that their contents do not distract.

"The hostess thought for a long time about the color scheme, in the end she settled on the color of sand," PRAGMATIKA says in the comment. The author of the MEDIA project is Olha Fradyna. — Initially, we added a turquoise sofa to the living room so that the palette referred to the image of the seashore. But over time, even this accent became annoying, so the sofa was wrapped in a vintage ski coat made of wool, and covers made of artificial fur were sewn on the pillows.

At the same time, the lounge area with an authentic Transcarpathian skier remains a favorite of the designer. A round black panel stands out against the background of sand walls and textiles. This art object was made from an ordinary sheet of metal: the pattern on it, reminiscent of a blurred landscape, is the result of a natural process of corrosion.

The designer combined the kitchen with the living room, removed corridors and small storage rooms, resulting in one common space. Craft furniture from Ukrainian manufacturers was selected for him: coffee tables and chairs of the FAINA brand, a dining table from Staritska Maysternya. The kitchen system is made according to the sketches of the author of the project.

Author's pottery by Olga Fradyna with its unique texture became the final touch in the sandy interior - minimalist, but not sterile, but alive, warm and textured.
