Natalya Bolshakova's studio Bolshakova Interiors designed apartments with an area of 270 square meters. m in the PecherSky residential complex in Kyiv for a married couple. The main tool was white color and bright accents, and in the process of work, by a happy coincidence, I had to work on the design of a nursery for twins.

In my opinion, it turned out to be a very organic object that reflects the character of the owners. Whenever I receive feedback from them, I understand that people are happy in this place, it's cozy there, it's just for them. This is the most valuable.

To maintain balance - this is our main task. If the direction of the concept is chosen correctly, then the question of its preservation does not arise. As a rule, the main direction is chosen at the first stage of work on the project and usually does not change. This is the basis.

Most of all, I like how all common areas are combined in one space and conditionally zoned. Here it turned out especially well: there is a feeling of space, but at the same time all the functions of each zone are performed. The partition for the zoning of the entrance group and the guest room was developed by me specifically for this project, it was produced individually and in reality it turned out to be very beautiful. And the most interesting thing was working on the nursery.

In her work, designer Natalya Bolshakova adheres to the main principle — attention to the customer's wishes and control of each stage of the project. These, in her opinion, are the main conditions of a universal design that lives for a long time. Therefore, the interior design of these apartments began with a detailed discussion with the customers. "Their main wish was a white interior with streamlined shapes and a red kitchen, which served as a starting point for our team in creating the Soft touch residence interior. We tried to capture the mood of our customers and added here a little elegance, which impressed them so much, and sparkles," says the author of the project.

A global redevelopment was required: two apartments were combined here. They started working on common areas, the kitchen, the concept of white space, and when they found out that the family was expecting twins, they immediately switched to the idea of a children's room.

The apartments start from the hall. To the right of the entrance, there is a dressing room - a separate room with a sliding glass partition and elegant, concise storage systems from Poliform. The concept is carefully thought out and implemented according to the author's sketches. A red armchair by the window is a bright focal point of this area, and a unique chandelier from Art & Floritude, which stretches along the ceiling like a cloud of leaves, brings, according to the authors, some element of living nature and maintains balance.

The entrance group is separated from the common area by a partition made of round elements from the Italian factory Bellavista. It is made individually according to the sketches of Natalya Bolshakova. The second zoning element is a floor fragment lined with marble.

The hall turns into a common area. "We combined the living room with the dining room and the kitchen to visually give the space freedom and lightness," says Natalya Bolshakova. The layout is open, easy to read, all zones are perfectly visible. The main architectural element here are wooden partitions, for example, the one that zones the living room. The floor finish performs the same function, for example, the living room is marked with natural wood parquet in a deck layout, and the kitchen is marked with marble tiles.

The decoration of the kitchen area was a luxurious white and red kitchen from the limited collection OLA 25 designed by Paolo Pinifarina for Snaidero. It has a characteristic recognizable detail - a loop-shaped leg in a red carbon finish at the console table of the kitchen island. By the way, the series was released in 2015 in honor of the 25th anniversary of the collaboration between Snaidero and the legendary Pininfarina Design office, which develops car designs for, for example, Ferrari and Maserati.

The dining room — elegant chairs and an oval table with a white marble top — was placed near a panoramic window, so the main accent here is a wonderful view of the garden.

The absolute embodiment of the white interior was the master's bedroom. "To implement the concept, we used furniture from the Italian factory Colombostile. Her slightly playful, airy style was perfect for this room," say the authors. The continuation is a luxurious bathroom decorated with Italian Sicis mosaics. It turned out to be the most difficult to implement a shower cabin in glass: a complex individual technical solution was required.

The design of the guest room is based on contrast: one of the walls is painted in a rich color, while the rest is in white.

The most inspired work was on the design of the children's room. The news about the appearance of twins in the family was very joyful, and the authors wanted to convey this mood. They chose the Altamoda collection, and cute mouse beds became the main attribute.
