An organic staircase by Atmos studio designers is the dominant feature of the new HIDE restaurant in London

The theme of time and an endless spiral – the oak structure of StairStalk grows through three floors of a new bar on Piccadilly, opened by London's most sought-after chef, owner of a Michelin star, Olla Dabu.

The interior design of the new restaurant was done by designer Rose Murray, the founder of the White Walls office. The source of her inspiration was Green Park, the view of which opens from the windows of HIDE.

The color scheme of the spaces is based on natural natural shades that Rose picked up in the park: dark wooden floors, oak panels, and delicate floral motifs decorating the sandstone wall tiles. The lamps above the tables resemble fragile eggshells.

When creating the central staircase for HIDE, the artists of Atmos studio, known for their experiments with plant forms, chose as a prototype the image of a powerful tree-like creeper: "It strives upwards, vigorously rotates like a corkscrew, the steps unfold from the structural stem like leaves, and thin branches form a thin wavy balustrade, gently guiding the guests."

All elements of the staircase are made of oak and oak laminated veneer, and inserts of tinted glass emphasize the complex geometry of the structure, creating a series of reflections.

The center of the spiral is a mysterious device with a giant gear under a glass cap. This is part of the mechanism that the bartender uses to access the bottles. But at the same time, this detail is meant to remind us of hours and minutes. The founders of the restaurant stated that their goal is to save visitors time, and they promise to surprise the demanding London public with super-fast service and a schedule - HIDE will be open 7 days a week from 7.30:XNUMX a.m. until the last customer.

On the advice of HIDE, chef Olla Dabu even closed his own restaurant in Fitzrovia (a prestigious neighborhood in the center of London). The chef intends to treat visitors to fresh pastries (HIDE has its own bakery) and high-quality cuisine.

Another exceptional detail: HIDE's wine list is 6800 names of alcoholic beverages, which is not surprising, since the co-founder of the restaurant was the owner of the wine boutique Hedonism Wines Yevgeny Chychvarkin.
