A new state program for the construction of social housing for those who lost their homes due to the war will start in Ukraine in a month.
About this reports said Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko for Forbes.Ukraine.
According to him, new homes for Ukrainians will be built in 10 regions of the country, and the delivery of the first apartments will begin in 3-4 months.
"We have chosen projects that can be implemented in three months. These will be apartments - mostly two-room, but also one-room and three-room. After we restore the homes of the displaced people in the cities where they lived before the war, they will move, and these apartments will be given to the military and everyone else who stood in the queues," Kyrylo Tymoshenko sums up.
According to the deputy head of OP, the government plans to build about 10 social apartments.
"It's not about modular towns, it's about stationary housing. All these apartments should be immediately renovated, with furniture, with household appliances," he adds.
First of all, housing will be given to those who cannot find a home or live in sports halls, schools, etc. The leaders of the regions compile lists of those who need to be resettled in the first place.
