According to him, the petition to ban the construction of a cemetery on the territory of Lysa Hora gained the necessary support of deputies, despite the fact that on January 3 it was rejected by the Kyiv City Council.
In addition, activists of the Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center reported, that currently Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has instructed the mayor of the capital, Vitalii Klitschko, to look for another place for the National Military Memorial Cemetery.
Activists emphasized that they will still hold a trial initiated by them regarding the Kyiv City Council's rejection of the petition to build Lysa Hora under the cemetery. "So that the officials were not disrespected," the KECC emphasized.
