Volodymyr Zelenskyi's team published a video presentation of the reform of the Presidential Administration and its transfer to the Ukrainian House.

General Director of SAGA Development Andrey Vavrysh and head of the architectural workshop 33BY Architecture Ivan Yunakov presented to Volodymyr Zelensky the concept of the reconstruction of the Ukrainian House under the new Office of the President (this is what the AP will be called now, the corresponding reform was launched on June 20).

The authors of the project chose this building because it has a large concert hall and space for organizing open spaces. According to the proposal, the Office of the President should occupy three floors with a total area of 8 square meters. sq. m (for 650 employees). Zelensky was offered a choice of two options for the location of his future cabinet - with a view of the European Square and with a view of the Dnieper. The president chose the first one because he decided that it was symbolic.

They want to organize a co-working space for citizens on the first floor of the Ukrainian House. In addition, the project envisages the creation of a cafe and a sports ground.

In the building, they plan to use energy-saving technologies, in particular, heat pumps.

The architects also plan to restore the fountain behind the Ukrainian House and build a public space around it that will attract people. The question of a place for civil protests has not yet been worked out, because such actions in the city center can paralyze transport.

The head of AP Andrey Bohdan noted that they plan to use grants from the EU and European organizations for the reform and relocation. They want to give the building on Bankova Street to the museum.

It should be noted that the five-story building of the Ukrainian House is located on the European Square on ul. Khreshchatyk, 2. At the moment, it is occupied by the International Congress Center, which specializes in holding exhibitions, conferences, and congresses. The building was built in 1982 as a Kyiv branch of the Lenin Museum. After the declaration of Ukraine's independence, the building was named the Ukrainian House.

Volodymyr Zelensky announced his plans to move the Presidential Administration from Bankova Street even before the second round of presidential elections. Moreover, he expressed a desire to move outside of Kyiv so as not to create transport problems in the capital. After the inauguration, Zelenskyi continued to promote the idea of moving, in particular, the president's team was embarrassed by poorly working wi-fi and shuttered windows in the building on Bankova. Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Utilities Lev Partskhaladze proposed to transfer the Presidential Administration to the industrial zone on Telichka. Another possible place for the administration to move was the "Parkovy" shopping center. It is interesting that Zelensky's character in the TV series "Servant of the People" transferred all major state institutions to VDNKh.
