The device he developed works on the principle of a quadcopter to which a metal detector is attached. As soon as it detects a mine, the system sends a special signal to the remote control and sprays paint in a potentially dangerous place. In this way, it will be possible to detect dangerous explosive objects remotely, without risks to human life.
As the winner of the Global Student Prize 2022 says, he had the idea to invent a device of this type in the fifth grade, when the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. Already in the 10th grade, the boy began to use quadcopters and drones to develop robots.
So far, Ihor has developed two prototypes of the Quadcopter Mines Detector and started cooperating with investors and organizations so that his invention could be used in real conditions as soon as possible.
He plans to use his winnings from the Global Student Prize to attract as many companies and organizations as possible to the project so that they invest in the mass production of his device.
