The LIV Hospitality Design Award is a competition based in Switzerland that specializes in the design of hospitality facilities. The jury recognizes architecture and interiors in two main categories: Eating Spaces and Living Spaces. In each of them, they determine not only the winners but also one best project - Design of the Year.
For two years in a row, the Design of the Year award in the Eating Spaces interior design category has been won by projects from the YOD Group. In 2021, the Buddha-Bar New York restaurant won the competition, and in 2022, the Terra restaurant, which belongs to the Emily Resort complex in Vynnyky near Lviv, won.
During the evaluation process, the jury does not know the authors of the projects and does not see their names, but evaluates only the projects, the quality and relevance of their design.
As the previous two ceremonies were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, this time the awards for several years of the competition were presented at the ceremony in Budapest.
