"Within the framework of countering unprecedented threats to national security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state, he proposed to the Cabinet of Ministers to work out the issue of revising the regime of entry of Russian citizens into the territory of Ukraine.
And today the Cabinet of Ministers has to adopt this important decision - the Resolution "On the termination of the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on visa-free travel of citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation and the application of some international agreements between Ukraine and the Russian Federation" - said the head of state.
The visa regime with Russia should be introduced from July 1, 2022.
We will remind that the corresponding initiative filed in the petition. It was registered by Nikita Mazura on February 11, 2022. After the appeal received more than 25 votes, Zelensky responded to it. He supported the decision and instructed the government to work it out.
