Burning Man is known for the spectacular ritual of burning a statue of a person, as well as for works of modern art that are exhibited directly in the desert by architects and artists.

One of the most impressive installations of this year's festival will be a giant inflatable mirror layer, which was invented and designed by BIG Architects.
"ORB is a mirror for Earth lovers, reflecting daylight, evolving life and other works of art below it - a new planet for science fiction lovers, a landmark for travelers or just a huge disco ball for those who love a good party!" - said Bjarke Ingels.
Traditionally, all installations in the Black Rock desert are financed by voluntary donations. ORBots collected half of the necessary sum of $50 thousand. The purchase of materials and the work were financed by BIG Architects. The equipment and crew responsible for installing the installation have already arrived in the desert. So far, the platform looks like this:

But, judging by the optimism of the architects and the patrons of the festival who support them, literally in a week we will be able to see not visualizations, but photographs of the real object.
