On February 23, at a meeting of the Odesa Executive Committee, a decision was made to hold an architectural competition for the best project proposal for the reconstruction of Kateryninska Square.
Contestants must submit the following documents:
- situational plan on a scale of 1:2000;
- reference plan on a scale of 1:500;
- master plan on a geobase at a scale of 1:500;
- sweeps of facades with project proposals for their restoration to eliminate identified deficiencies;
- proposals for the selection and placement of landscaping elements;
- general external views of the area;
- an explanatory note explaining the architectural and planning idea and architectural solutions.
They want to allocate UAH 350 from the city budget to celebrate the winners. The contest starts on March 31 and will last until August 1.
By the way, Acting Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Filatov noted that the historic center of the city was included in the UNESCO list, so it will be necessary to coordinate the project with representatives of the organization and the Ministry of Culture.
