These are paintings of the 20th century by famous Ukrainian artists Oleksandr Murashko, Ilya Ripyn, Zinaida Serebryakova, Anatol Petrytskyi, Tetyana Yablonska, Alla Horska, Ivan Trush, Mykola Hlushchenko, as well as representatives of the art school of Southern Ukraine.
“Our museums preserve the amazing history of Ukrainian art of the 1900th century. From the bold ideas of the avant-garde, through the experiments of the Soviet era, to the bright “new wave” of postmodernism. Each period is full of searches and discoveries. Together they create our common cultural memory. This is what we want to show, revealing two unique Mykolaiv collections in the broad context of Ukrainian art from the early 1990s to the late XNUMXs,” says Yevhen Homonyuk, project manager.
The project to digitize the museum collection is being implemented by the MY ART Platform together with the Mykolaiv Development Agency with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
