Almost 23 thousand trees were digitized in Kyiv. After the war with them, an online map will be opened for the citizens.

About this reported the Oleksandr Vozniy, Head of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the KMDA.

The purpose of creating an online map is to record the number and condition of trees that are on the city's balance sheet, which will allow the community to monitor them.

The map will be made publicly available after the end of martial law. The online resource will contain a photo of each "digitized" tree, information about its location with exact coordinates, species, trunk diameter, height and condition.

The map was developed by the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the KMDA together with KP "GIOC".
