Russians are holding an exhibition of exhibits from the Stone Tomb in Melitopol region on the territory of the Chersonese Tavriysky reserve.

About this reported in the Union of Archaeologists of Ukraine.

The capsule exhibition "House of Fish" in the reserve "Khersones Tavriyskyi" from the stolen exhibits of the Stone Tomb will last until October 8, 2023.

"The occupiers conducted an inventory in the museum, and items of Ukrainian historical heritage are included in the museum catalog of the Russian Federation. A part of it has already been transported to the occupied Crimea," Denys Yashniy, an expert of the NGO "Crimean Institute of Strategic Studies", noted in a comment to the Society.

Reserve "Stone Tomb"

In February 2023, the Russians announced the annexation of Stone Tomb to Chersonesus Tavriyskyi, under the guise of protecting cultural heritage.

"They took more than 80 ten items to Chersonesus Tavriyskyi", Yashniy explains.

The consequences of such actions by the Russians are catastrophic for such a monument.
