The investigation of the Financial and Economic Police Department of Brescia into the illegal activities of the Italian began with the discovery of a helicopter registered in Russia. In addition, Lanfranco Cirillo was under investigation for undeclared income from 2013 to 2019 - we are talking about tens of millions of euros.

Based on the discovered evidence, the investigating judge authorized the confiscation of "luxurious houses, a rotorcraft, money, jewelry, works of modern art and paintings by Picasso, Cézanne, Kandinsky, de Chirico and Fontana, as well as other luxury items."

The architect stated the day before that, in addition to the restored villa of the XV century in Brescia, he is the owner of a residence in Dubai, five estates on the Costa Smeralda coast, houses in Moscow, Madonna di Campillo, New York.

Radio Liberty tells, that Cirillo built palaces and villas for many years for more than forty Russian oligarchs and companies (among them Novatek, Lukoil and Gazprom).

We will remind, 63-year-old Lanfranco Cirillo is called the author of Putin's scandalous palace on the shore of the Black Sea near Gelendzhik, which was told by the Russian opposition leader Oleksiy Navalny.
