The day before in Lviv announced winners of the All-Ukrainian open architectural competition for the best project club housing, which is planned to be built in the historical district of the city. Out of 15 projects from all over the country, Lviv architects won the prizes.
Victory and a prize of $10 got studio Sulyk Architects. The authors of the project - Taras Sulyk, Kateryna Kaletynets, Anton Kobzev and Kyrylo Starov - claim that they tried to preserve the originality of the building and give it an updated sound in the structure of the residential complex.
By the way, for the second and third places that took the team of architects Andrii Belyaev, Dmytro Smalyuk, Oksana Bonchyk and Ostap Gotya and representatives of the Room66 bureau also provided monetary rewards in the amount of $7,5 thousand and $5 thousand, respectively.
The project area is located on Konovaltsia Street, 114-116, next to the historical center of Lviv. A children's sanatorium has been operating here since the 1960s, but it stopped working in 2017.
The development company Avalon will be engaged in the implementation of the project to build elite housing on the site of the former children's rehabilitation facility.
