"The Street of Princes of Ostrozki has finally been cleared of Moscow remnants - the last 6 address signs. It is good that business and state bodies are already installing the first indicators with the new name", Oleg's post says.
A sign with the correct name appeared on the street, which the owners of the building put up on their own.

For those willing to independently decommunize signs symbolizing Russia or the USSR, the public activist explained:
"If the street has already been renamed, you have three options:
- remove it yourself;
- take a picture and send a complaint through 15-51 (90% receive a reply saying why they won't remove the sign, for example, because the building has a condominium);
- if it is a private house or the sign was made by some company nearby, go to them, remind them that the name has been out of date for a long time and confuses people, and, according to the decision of the Kyiv City Council, they should have changed the sign a long time ago."
By the way, since the end of May, Kyiv has been cleared of 110 index cards with the toponyms of Chervonoarmiyska, Gorky, Frunze, Shchors, Vatutin, etc. - former names of renamed streets.
