The government allocated 465 million hryvnias for the reconstruction of 18 houses in the Kyiv region

The UNITED24 platform launched the "Rebuilding Ukraine" direction: 18 residential buildings will be restored in Irpen, Borodyanka, Gostomel, Buzove and Mila villages. They plan to start in Irpen.

According to said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during his visit to Irpen, thanks to the UNITED24 platform, most of the required amount was collected. This week, the government allocated the first 465 million hryvnias to begin reconstruction right now. This will enable more than 4 people to return to their homes.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, in turn, added that the total amount needed to restore buildings is 719 million hryvnias. Thanks to UNITED24 donors from 110 countries, more than 504 million hryvnias have already been collected. Also, the restoration of buildings will be partially implemented thanks to the state budget and residents' contributions.

"We will restore and rebuild everything that the enemy damaged and destroyed. We already understand where to get UAH 110 billion for reconstruction this year. 2023 will be the year of our victory and the year of the beginning of our great recovery," Shmyhal wrote in Telegram.
