Recently, the SIT Furniture Design Award recognized the best works in the field of interior, furniture and industrial design.
Interior designer and founder of the Churina Design company Kateryna Churina became the only nominee from Ukraine.
Kateryna Churina's design for the L'Oreal office won the competition
At once, four of her projects took first place in the prestigious competition. Among them are the office of Kateryna's TABOORET studio, which the team had to leave due to the full-scale invasion of Russia, the office and training academy of L'Oreal and the project of the first floor of the country house Airstone House. All of them are located in Kyiv.
Projects received awards in three nominations: office design, design of zones and premises (2 projects) and other design.

Traditionally, the announcement of SIT Furniture Design Award nominees took place in Switzerland. This year, representatives from 49 countries took part in the competition.
Characteristic features of the design projects of the Ukrainian designer are home comfort, lightness of minimalism and Scandinavian restraint. Kateryna Churina's company has been operating in Ukraine and Europe since 2009.
