The 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference takes place from November 6 to 18 in Sharm el-Sheikh. Despite the fact that Ukraine participated in the event for several years, now it presented its own separate pavilion.
Its purpose is to show the world the devastating effects of war and to draw attention to the reconstruction of the country.
"Our task is to convey to the world information about Ukraine's commitment to climate goals, aspirations for development, as well as to tell about Russia's climate crimes and their global consequences. The Ukrainian delegation will block all Russian efforts to legitimize its illegal climate reports. Also, as part of this year's negotiation process, it is important for Ukraine to receive financial support and market and non-market mechanisms for implementing the goals of the Paris Agreement," says the head of the Ministry of Environment, Ruslan Strelets.

Inside the central block of the Ukraine pavilion is an installation in the form of a shell casing, in which more than five hundred cubes of recycled Polygood material from The Good Plastic Company with sixteen types of soils

The second block draws the attention of the participants of the UN conference to the consequences of the war for the environment
Thus, Ukraine is going to conduct a series of various measures, which should initiate an international dialogue to agree on uniform approaches to calculating the losses and consequences caused by the war. Also presented is the "Green Grain Paths" initiative, which raises the issue of the global threat to world food security and the creation of partnerships at every stage of the grain supply chain.
The pavilion consists of three meaningful blocks: in the center - an installation in the form of a shell hole, inside the hole are more than five hundred cubes of recycled Polygood material from The Good Plastic Company with sixteen types of Ukrainian soils (a reminder of the country's enormous potential and its importance for the world food supply stability). The other two blocs draw attention to the consequences of the war for the climate and the vision of the future of Ukraine as one of the guarantor states and participants of the UN climate goals.
