They want to create a Museum of Contemporary Art in Zhytomyr based on a project by Italian architects - PRAGMATIKA.MEDIA

In Zhytomyr, the idea of creating a Museum of Contemporary Art on Zamkova Gora was presented - on the site of an unfinished museum of nature.

This was discussed during a meeting of the standing committee of the regional council on budget and communal property, transmits Zhytomyr Urban News and Zhytomyr Info.

“We are currently working on an architectural concept with the Italian bureau “Piuarch”, a fairly well-known European bureau with extensive experience. The work continues, a public organization will be created for this project. Next year we plan to make a working project for the museum, and then I hope for construction,” says the author of the idea for creating the museum, entrepreneur Serhiy Tverdokhlib.

The new space is designed as a multifunctional cultural center that will include: exhibition halls, conference space, library and café, and an event area.

During the presentation, it was noted that they do not plan to spend money from the budget on project development and construction.
