Palanok Castle to be renovated with EU funds

They plan to repair some rooms and the facade of buildings A and B in the lower courtyard.

This was reported on the official Facebook page of the Mukachevo City Council.

"The Mukachevo Historical Museum has announced an open tender (with special conditions) for the purchase of services for the current repair of certain premises and the facade of the buildings of letters "A" and "B" of the lower courtyard of the Palanok Castle in Mukachevo for the amount of UAH 962,344 excluding VAT at the expense of a grant from the European Union under the grant agreement HUSKROUA/1702/3.1/0026 of 29.08.2019," the post reads.

Bids will be accepted until 11.02.2023. Interested professionals can join the bidding here.

On October 25, a trident was installed in the Palanok castle instead of the Hungarian turul.
