Russian tourists will not be accommodated in Turkish hotels

The Turkish representative of the TUI tour operator - TUI Tantur sent a directive to cancel room reservations in the country's hotels for Russian tourists due to sanctions against Russia.

The company's management explained this decision by the fact that a corresponding request was received from Baltic tour operators, in particular TI Travel LLC, TI Baltics SIA and Borublita, which are partners of TUI Tantur. 

According to this, there should be no more tourists from Russia in Turkish hotels. Currently, the company is working on canceling existing reservations and evicting Russians who have managed to settle in.

The corresponding decision should be implemented by May 31. Subsequently, they plan to check the data on the 20th of every month.

In addition, it is reported that the Russian subsidiary of TUI - TUI Tantur in Turkey has stopped its work, and all its employees have been dismissed. 

It is worth noting that TUI - TUI Tantur is currently considered the largest tour operator in Europe. It arose as a result of the merger of the two largest European travel companies - the German TUI AG and the British TUI Travel PLC.

The TUI group has 300 hotels in more than thirty countries, 6 airlines, 14 cruise ships, etc. Every year, it serves about 20 million customers in 180 countries of the world.
