According to her, preparations began long before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. Currently, citizens of Ukraine, who were forced to leave Crimea, live in the city. The local sod remains in constant contact with them.
Yuksel noted that, in total, Turkey has accepted almost 500 Ukrainian citizens since the start of the full-scale invasion in February. It is believed that half of them have already left Turkey for third countries or returned to Ukraine.
