A spiral tower is planned to be installed inside the skyscraper, which will be located in the center of Riyadh.

About the project tells media Dezeen.

The government of Saudi Arabia has announced plans to build a 400-meter cube-shaped skyscraper called Mukaab as part of a plan to redevelop downtown Riyadh.

The developers of the concept call the future building one of the largest in the world. Its height, length and width will be 400 meters on each side.

The skyscraper is set to open numerous shops, cultural and tourist attractions and an atrium space with a spiral tower almost full height. The wider development will contain more than 100 residential units and 9 hotel rooms, as well as more than 980 square meters of retail and 1,4 million square meters of office space.

Mukaab will also include 80 entertainment and cultural venues, a university of technology and design, a multi-purpose immersive theater and a "landmark" museum.

The construction of the skyscraper will be part of a wider project for the improvement of the Murabba district, announced the day before by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Salman, the head of the newly created company New Murabba Development.

According to the country's government, the project is planned to be completed by 2030.

This is one of several large-scale plans that are currently being developed by a number of specialists in Saudi Arabia. They are financed by the State Investment Fund as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 plan. The most famous and controversial of the ideas is Neo, which we talked about earlier.
