The initiative should help create a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for passengers during their travels, reported the KP “Kharkiv Metro”.
The metro notes that in times of war, even small positive changes can have an impact on people's psychological state. Music at stations should help passengers, at least for a short while, distract from daily stress and disturbing news.
The company is currently working on technical and organizational issues related to the implementation of the project. The first station where they plan to test the musical accompaniment will be the Peremoga metro station.
The metro explains that the pilot launch will allow for assessing passenger reactions and collecting feedback on the innovation.
As a reminder, Ukraine has a ban on broadcasting music and movies in public transport. This rule applies to both drivers and passengers, ensuring comfortable silence during trips.
