"The market will remain communal, built with private funds, that is, the city will not spend a single penny on it," said Lyubomyr Zubach, Lviv's deputy mayor for urban development.
Currently, in addition to the peasants, 80 entrepreneurs work in the market.

"We are counting on the fact that all the people who work for us today, as well as the peasants, will be accommodated in the new market. We understand that the areas will be smaller, it will be more crowded somewhere, but in return there will be better conditions than under the open sky," said the director of LLP "Lyubinske siaivo" Zinovii Sidorskyi.
Construction work started already today, June 25.
