In Lviv, the developer will create a recreational space on the site of fish breeding ponds

The developer on Zamastrynivska Street in Lviv promises to restore the lake and create a recreational area instead of fish ponds.

About this reports said on the website of the Lviv City Council.

"We do not abandon the intentions and promises we had to the residents of the residential complex regarding the restoration of the reservoir. Of course, it will be restored in a slightly different configuration, but with the preservation of key parameters. Since previously there were three mini-ponds for breeding fish, now it will be a recreational area with a reservoir accessible to all residents of Lviv," said Roman Davymuka, a representative of the Avalon development company.

The deputy mayor for urban planning Lyubomir Zubach assured that the position of the city council is unanimous - the reservoir should be preserved for the city community.

The developer announced that they will work promptly to obtain town planning conditions and restrictions in the next month and to put the facility in order this year and carry out the main part of the technical works on the improvement of the territory.

It should be noted that the residents of the surrounding areas, who noticed the filled-up lake at the construction site, appealed to the mass media to preserve the reservoir. At the same time, the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the city was aware of such actions of the developer and negotiations were already underway to restore the reservoir on the territory of this residential complex on the street.
