The changes to the detailed plan of the district's territories proposed by the PRAUD company were supported by the Architectural and Town Planning Council of Lviv back in the spring. Now it must be approved by the city council session.
According to the project, the parking lot will have two levels, one of which - with a separate entrance and exit - will be allocated for city use. In addition, it will serve as an air raid shelter for about 3000 people.
"One level would be enough for us, but all around is a disaster with parking. That is why we are setting a precedent in the central part of the city", says PRAUD director Marko Tkach.
In addition to a two-level underground parking lot for 200 cars, the PRAUD company plans to build an office and residential complex with a small apart-hotel on the square. The share of housing here will be no more than 60%. The average height of buildings on Prince Svyatoslav Square will be 18 meters.
"On the first floor, commerce is planned: restaurants, beauty salons, offices, a large dental clinic. We are also thinking about a small apartment hotel, where you can buy a completely ready-made room and rent it out with the help of our operator," says Marko Tkach.
According to the project of the developer, it is planned to make a retreat from the road on the side of the street. Yaroslav the Wise and in this way an area of more than one and a half thousand square meters will be created for public space.
