In March, the zine "What is the essence of the experiment?" will be published, dedicated to the research and preservation of the monumental heritage of the North-Brovar district in Kyiv.

The district was built in 1965–1975 as an experimental residential space with a complex artistic design.

The publication collects materials about monumental works that have become part of the architecture of the massif, in particular the works of the “Sophia Pottery”, also known as the Kyiv workshop of artistic ceramics of Nina Fedorova.

These ceramic elements were used to decorate the facades and public spaces of the district.

The funds from the sale of the zine will be directed to self-organized groups for the restoration and preservation of monumental works of the North Brovarsky massif. Anyone who wishes can join the initiative.
