"The occupiers demolished the unique modernist sanatorium "Dawn of Ukraine" in Crimea. <…> After the illegal annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea by Russia, the property of the peninsula passed into the hands of the criminal authorities of the terrorist state, including about 200 sanatoriums. Putin's clique began to actively sell off sanatoriums into private hands and hand them over to law enforcement agencies. And here we see the results of this activity. The unique complex of buildings was blown up by the Russian occupiers to make room for construction... Death to the occupiers!" - the post says.

"Dawns of Ukraine" is a valuable example of world-class modernist architecture.
The project of brutalist buildings, skillfully embodied on the rocky coast of Crimea, was implemented in the Kikineiz settlement (now Opolzneve). The developers of the sanatorium were architects Valery Zhilkin and Yevsii Perchenkov. The institution was opened in 1986.
"Crimea must be liberated, and preferably before Russia finally frees Crimea from Crimean Tatars and cultural heritage. If suddenly any of you still have illusions that Putin's Russia has any piety for the Soviet heritage, forget it. The concepts of culture and heritage are unknown to them, only money and war are valuable," the Ukrainian Modernism publication concludes.
