The promotion will last for 12 days: from December 21, 2022 to January 1, 2023.

About the initiative the Radio Kraków.

As part of the "Lights for Ukraine" project, the lights will be turned off for one minute in six places in the city around 19:00. In this way, they will express solidarity with Ukrainians who are experiencing Russian attacks on energy facilities.

In particular, for 12 days, the illuminations of the Wielkopolska Palace, St. Mary's Basilica, the Tower of the Town Hall, the Cloth Hall, the Kosciuszko Mound and the pedestrian bridge of Father Bernatek will be extinguished.

Other cities are invited to join the "Lights for Ukraine" action. After all, the temporary lack of light should draw special attention to blackouts and total interruptions in the supply of electricity in Ukraine.
