The Kyiv Department of Culture presented an updated identity - a video

The Creative&tech team of the Projector Institute developed a visual brand design for the Department of Culture of the Kyiv City State Administration.

For implementation chose the project student Anastasia Sverenyak under the supervision of designer Oleksandr Husakov.

According to representatives of the department, the main task of the new identity was to create a complete system of visual design.

The concept of corporate style has been compared to the solar system. The main elements of the visual design for each of the directions of the department were developed similar to celestial bodies and phenomena. Each of them has its own meaning: cinema - about stars, events, action; museums - about the intersection of the past and the present; concerts - about the dynamics of music, etc.

In the center of the intersection of the axes, a star was placed, which serves as the main element of the logo. 

"The star is the basis around which everything revolves and functions, in addition, the two axes are also a metaphor for the intersection of two worlds: official and creative, on the border of which the Department of Culture is located," the state institution reports.

Projector is a Ukrainian PR agency that specializes in developing strategies for building and maintaining the reputation of companies and individuals. On its basis, the Creative&tech institute was created, which offers more than 100 courses on various topics: from advertising to web design.
