An official appeal with a corresponding request has currently been sent for consideration to the head of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, official sites of both clubs report in the Kyiv City Council.
"The streets of Kyiv should bear the names not only of modern heroes, but also of our glorious ancestors. Therefore, the renaming of Moskovska Street in the historic center of the city in honor of the Princes of Ostroh will complement the rich historical toponymic landscape of the Pechersk district. This will contribute to the preservation of national and local memory", said deputy Olena Penzik, who submitted an official appeal.

In December 2021, Moscow Street, located in the Solomyanskyi and Holosiivskyi districts, was renamed in the capital. Today it bears the name of the Cossack colonel and diplomat of the Hetmanship Hryhoriy Gulyanitskyi. Photo: kyiv.comments.ua
