"I propose to rename the square of heroes of WWII and the boulevard of Friendship of Nations to the square and boulevard named after Elizabeth II, the deceased Queen of Great Britain!
Great Britain is our strategic partner! Queen Elizabeth II made a lot of efforts supporting Ukraine! That is why I propose to perpetuate her name in Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine!" - says the explanation from the author.

We will remind, on September 8 Kyiv City Council supported draft decision on renaming 42 streets, alleys, squares, boulevards and avenues of the capital. Thus, Minsky Avenue will henceforth be called Lytovskyi, and Heroes of Stalingrad Avenue will be named Volodymyr Ivasyuk. Moskovska Street in Kyiv no longer exists - it will be named after the Ostrozky princes. The Square of Heroes of the Great Patriotic War has been given the historical name "Navodnytska".
