In Kharkiv, a mural with Russian Marshal Zhukov on the wall of a building on Petro Grigorenko Avenue was covered with wall insulation.

About this reported on the page "Decommunization. Ukraine".

Activists showed in the photo what the facade looks like now, where the mural used to be.

У comments To the public, the head of the NGO "Decolonization. Ukraine" Vadym Pozdnyakov said that the city council was approached more than once about painting the mural, because Zhukov's figure falls under the law on decommunization.

"I did not see any thorough answer. There was something about the fact that there is no money now. They applied exactly 3-4 times already after the full-scale war. They also appealed until February 24, 2022, but there was no response," says Pozdnyakov.

At whose expense the work was carried out is currently unknown.
