According to him, proposals to change a number of names related to Russia will be considered at the next session of the city council.
Currently, it is known that according to the results of a public vote, 90% of Kharkiv residents support the initiative to rename the Moscow district to Saltivskyi.
The head of the city also proposes to choose a new toponym for Moscow Avenue. Among the proposed options are names in honor of Kharkiv, Kyiv, Heroes of Kharkiv and Defenders of Ukraine.
As of the time of publication, the city residents consider the renaming of Moskovskiy Avenue to Heroiv Kharkiv Avenue to be the most popular proposal. More than 78 people voted for it.
At the same time, more than 77 respondents voted for the option of the name "Kharkivskyi Avenue". More than 62 consider renaming in honor of the Defenders of Ukraine to be the best proposal, and about 10 local residents expressed their opinion about Kyivskyi Avenue.

In addition, the head of the city reminded that the official website of the city council was opened special section, where residents of Kharkiv can offer their options for renaming streets. Over 10 people left their offers in two days.
