In the construction of new Kharkiv metro stations, military experience will be taken into account - the mayor of the city

Despite the war, Kharkiv plans to continue work on the expansion of the metro network, in particular the Oleksiivska line. Currently, the project is at the stage of negotiations with a potential contractor.

About this official sites of both clubs report in the Kharkiv City Council.

According to the head of the city, Igor Terekhov, construction work will begin as soon as the military allows, and "the funds necessary for construction are already in the accounts."

He also noted that adjustments will be made to the project, taking into account safety standards. In particular, we are talking about the construction of an electrical depot at the "Peremoga" station.

"The enemy fired at our depots, a certain number of subway depots were damaged. Therefore, for the purpose of safety, the project must be changed and the depot placed underground. We must take into account the experience gained during the war", - Terekhov.

It is worth noting that the project for the construction of an electric depot and new stations of the Oleksiivska line was approved even before the large-scale Russian invasion. After holding all the necessary tenders, it was planned to start work on its implementation at the beginning of spring.

The Kharkiv City Council reported that negotiations are currently ongoing with the tender participants, who must confirm further participation in the tender.
