Three teams will represent Ukraine in Milan at the Saint-Gobain competition

In Kyiv, the winners of the national stage of the competition "Designing a Saint-Gobain multi-comfort house - 2019" were determined, who will go to Italy for the international final.

The national final of the annual architectural competition "Designing a Saint-Gobain Multi-Comfort House" was held in Kyiv on Friday, April 12. This year, the students were tasked with preparing their vision for the remodeling of the area near the Crescenzago metro station in Milan.

Nine teams from five Ukrainian universities competed in the national final. The participants presented their projects to the jury of the competition, which included Doctor of Cultural Studies, candidate of architecture Vladimir Nikytyn, practicing architect Alexander Kucheryavy, head of the NEOACRE construction bureau specializing in energy-efficient houses Andrey Ovcharenko, CEO of the magazine about architecture and design PRAGMATIKA.MEDIA Zhanna Rzhanova.

Top awarded to Evgenia Barabash and Anastasia Solokhina (Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture); second Viktoria Bohdanova (Odessa State Academy of Construction and Architecture) also received the honorable mention third won by Elizaveta Us, Elmira Hasanova and Ekaterina Cherkashina (Kharkov National University of Beketov City Hospitality). The winners will go with their works to the international final of the competition, which will be held in Milan from June 5 to 8, 2019.
