"At the request of our deputies, understanding Zhytomyr's problems with the energy infrastructure, an agreement was reached that 20 buses from Tallinn's fleet will be handed over free of charge for the needs of our city in January," the mayor's message says.
The initiative is designed not only to facilitate the movement of Zhytomyr residents in conditions of constant power outages, but also to partially update the rolling stock of the city's communal transport.
"I thank our true friends from Estonia: the mayor of Tallinn, Mykhailo Kilvart, for his constant support of Ukraine, as well as the People's Deputy of Ukraine, Arseniy Pushkarenko, and our colleagues, deputies of the Zhytomyr City Council, Viktor Yevdokymov, Iryna Gladka, and Viktor Kliminskyi, for their joint coordinated work to support our city." Sukhomlin concluded.
