In the new semester, the training of architectural, artistic and design students to create projects for the reconstruction of destroyed buildings and structures, reproduction of architectural monuments, architectural heritage and objects of art was introduced into the educational programs.
Future specialists are developing the subject of rehabilitation centers, sanatoriums, retraining centers, temporary and capital housing for displaced persons and other buildings and structures that will help rebuild the country in the post-war period.
In addition, the initiators of the innovations note that such projects will ensure the development of the construction, architectural and artistic industries. Designers and artists will develop mobile units for military recreation, which will be installed on special vehicles, so they will have the opportunity to change their location. It is also about the development of camouflage according to the terrain and time of year.
Currently, a group of students of the Faculty of Architecture of KNUBA has already developed projects that will help preserve the murals of the famous street artist Banksy in the Kyiv region.
