US allocates $7 million to protect cultural heritage in Ukraine

The funds will be used to fix the damage, conserve and partially restore the affected buildings.

This was reported on the official social media pages of the Ministry of Culture.

First of all, the money will be used to record the destruction of cultural heritage and create a digital map.

Secondly, to help with the conservation and partial restoration of buildings damaged by the war.

Thirdly, the development of a national system for the protection of cultural heritage. This includes both the development of regulations and the creation of digital registers, as well as the provision of cultural institutions with the necessary equipment.
