Switzerland will invest in the development of Ukraine's green economy

Ukraine and Switzerland signed an agreement on the creation and development of joint climate projects for the "green" restoration of Ukrainian cities and settlements.

After the victory, the partner country will invest in the implementation of public and private initiatives that will ensure the sustainable development of Ukraine, informed Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

According to him, we are talking about eco-projects that will work to improve the spheres of electricity, heat supply, industry, transport, construction, agriculture and waste processing.

Ukrainian companies that will contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and advance the "green" transformation of the country in their projects will get access to profitable investments for their implementation. In exchange, Switzerland will receive from Ukraine verified results on mitigating climate change.

We will remind that on the eve of France said about the intention to turn Borodyanka into a new ecological town.
