The historical building was erected for French monarchs in the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries in the Vincennes Forest on the site of a XNUMXth century hunting ground. Currently, one of the centers of the Historical Service of Defense, libraries and archives have been set up there, available upon special request, for example, to journalists.
