"The International Union of Architects follows the activities of NSAU in consistent criticism of draft law No. 5655, drawing attention to the fact that the draft law can only serve the interests of the big developer business. The professional community and local self-government bodies will lose their influence on the development of communities and territories.
On February 13-14, 2023, at the 151st Congress, the UIA Council expressed its deep concern about the current situation and the persecution of architects. "MSA openly and decisively supports NSAU in opposing No. 5655 and other similar initiatives that create obstacles to the architectural profession and the environment for people," said Jose Luis Cortes.
The Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA) was founded in 1948 and is recognized as the only global organization of architects. The National Union of Architects of Ukraine has been a member of the ISA since 1996, actively cooperating with architects from all over the world.
