More than 150 cities around the world have terminated twinning relations with Russian cities

Agreements on friendship and cooperation with 160 cities of Russia have already been terminated by more than 20 countries of the world.

Dozens more settlements are currently on the way to this, official sites of both clubs report in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The world understands that there can be neither friendly nor fraternal relations with Russia," the message states.

In particular, such decisions have already been adopted in Australia, Austria, Great Britain, Denmark, Greece, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, the USA, Finland, the Czech Republic, Sweden and the Netherlands.

Also, the day before, the Union of Baltic Cities excluded the Russian cities of St. Petersburg and Gatchina from its membership. Instead, the Ukrainian city of Vilniansk was accepted as an associate member of the organization.
