The petition against the scandalous draft law No. 5655 gathered more than 25 signatures in a record short time

Protsenko Vladyslav became the author of the petition registered on December 12. As of the time the news was published, more than 30 people supported it. Currently, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has to consider the appeal.

"The new town planning regulations, under the guise of liberalization of the town planning sphere and acceleration of construction, actually free the hands of large developers, who will now not have to undergo inspections by local self-government bodies.

Construction inspections and documentation for this project can be carried out by private firms, and the role of the city's chief architects in this process is significantly limited. In addition, it is proposed to create an "Urban Planning Chamber" under the Ministry of Regional Development, the powers of which are very similar to the infamous "Tender Chamber", the text of the petition emphasizes.

As of the morning of December 14, the petition has already collected more than 30 signatures

Note that on December 13, the Verkhovna Rada approved in the second reading and in general, the resonant bill No. 5655 on reforming the sphere of urban development. 228 People's Deputies voted "for".
